The transportation arm of the company had already implemented SAP and was looking to optimize their internal warehouse processes by implementing SAP Warehouse Management (WM) solution.
Project Scope and Strategy
Our client engaged Altivate for a consultation to optimize its warehouse operations. We recommended the implementation of SAP WM to achieve this objective. The scope of the project included setting up new storage locations for one of their existing plants in the SAP system, standardizing internal warehouse processes, improving inventory procedures, and facilitating warehouse controlling.
Challenges and Implementation
The implementation of SAP WM involved several challenges.
